1990 – 45 teams, International Dragon Boat Festival—Bangladesh Rowing Federation, Byron Bay Dragon Boat Club (Australia), China Merchants Holdings Co (Hong Kong), Hsin Tien Lake Morning Swim Team (Island of Taiwan), and Philippines Rowing Association.

1991 – 61 teams, International Dragon Boat Festival (110 races)—Australia, Chinese Taipei, Philippines Rowing Association, and England.

1992 – 33 teams, Dubuque Regional Festival (73 races), Happy 5th Anniversary Dubuque Dragon Boat Festival, Mickey Mouse Club (TV Series filmed the Dubuque Dragon Boat Festival) MMC on the Road: Dubuque Dragon Boat (original airdate November 6, 1992).

1993 – 54 teams, International Dragon Boat Festival (109 races) in Ice Harbor—The Saloon from Toronto (Canada), Wasted Days/Wasted Knights New Zealand, British Airways Hurricanes (England), Dragonda (Italy), and Duke of Edinbirgh’s Award (Hong Kong).
